Beautifully furnished, Dornoch has one kingsize bed with a beautiful view to the hills.
In addition to the ensuite, Dornoch has a large dressing table, comfy armchairs and wardrobe.

This thriving community is blessed with a sunny climate and golden beaches which stretch for miles.
The town also has a cathedral, golf course, and is close to Lock Fleet National Nature Reserve, a site of specific scientific interest.

Situated to the rear of the House, Glenmore is a beautifully furnished twin room with an outdoor patio area.
Perfect for watching the sunset over the mountains and, if you are very lucky, the stunning Northern Lights!

Named after Glenmore Forest Park which lies at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, an absolute must to visit if you are staying here at Balblair House.
Forests that have been growing for centuries form a green sea around high, rounded mountains and lochs with sandy beaches which glitter in the sun. If you are lucky you might even see one of the many red squirrels that live in the area!

What are the main reasons you want to visit the Cairngorms?
For many, it’s for the stunning scenery and great outdoor playground. If this is you, think about how you want to maximise your time here.
Why not plan a hike, bike ride or trips to attractions in advance?
There are so many options to suit all ages and abilities.
Others visit to be amongst the unique history or wildlife you can find here. You can even spend a quiet evening stargazing, or looking for those incredible, awe inspiring Northern Lights!

Visit the location of the BBC's Traitors!
BBC award winning series 'The Traitors' is filmed nearby, in Ardross Castle, a 19th Century pile about 30 miles north of Inverness.
It is set in about 100 acres of gardens and parkland near the Easter Ross town of Alness.
If you are a superfan, several of the tasks shown on 'The Traitors' were filmed in locations nearby. Why not start at the stunning Loch Glass, a location featuring the famous 'Pink House'. This scenic backdrop featured in some of the show's challenges such as the coffin scene in 2023's series and 2025's celebrity version of the hit show.

Stunning nature and wildlife
Meet our companions
The Highlands are a haven for diverse wildlife.
Expect to encounter Red Deer, Red Squirrels (although they are notoriously shy!), Roe Deer, Pine Marten, and if you are very lucky, you might even spot a Scottish Wildcat.
If you're interested in birds, The Highlands are the place for you! Residents include the Golden Eagle, Capercaillie, Black Grouse and a huge variety of seabirds and even Puffins!
Surrounded by water, The Highlands are also the perfect place to see marine and freshwater life. Bottlenose Dolphins, Grey Seals, Otters, Salmon (including the incredible Atlantic Leaping Salmon) and even Humpback Whales!
